Before 2001 all operations of animals had to be done either in Angelika’s office on the desk, on the kitchen-table, or even while the animals was on a volunteers back!

With amaZOOnico growing something had to be done. Thanks to many donations we could finally realize one of our dreams and necessities and build a special room for operations and medicine.

Near the entrance of amaZOOnico there is now the vet-room where all operations can take place. As well there is place for medicines and operational material and some books about the different animals. Off course it is not a clinic as is known in Europe but we can handle most operations here. Attached to the vet-room is a cage of 3 by 3 metres for animals to get acquainted with amaZOOnico after having been in quarantine.
