Visit of the rescue center for animals, which is situated at 30 minutes by walk from the Lodge or by canoe 5min. This can be combined with the hike to the Ceibo, Mirador or Rio Rodgriguez.
The team of volunteers will show you the selva’s animals: monkeys, parrots, and ocelots… Most of the animals live free, however, some of them are kept in cages for their own security. Details.
The guided tour of the amaZOOnico takes approx. 1h. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to go to the bar and the small shop, which presents the Kichwa’s artisanal work.
